Shrink Sleeve Tunnels

Shrink sleeve tunnels complete the sleeve labeling process by applying controlled heat to shrink the film tightly around containers. After sleeves are placed by the applicator, products pass through the tunnel where heat activates the film and allows it to fit closely to the container shape. Our shrink tunnels are available in hot air and steam heating configurations to provide uniform shrink results for different container designs, including bottles, jars and irregular shapes, while supporting common films such as PVC, PET and OPS.

      Single zone electric heat shrink tunnels complete the sleeve shrinking process after labels are applied to containers. Electric heating elements and hot air circulation provide stable heat inside the tunnel, which allows PVC, POF, PE, PP and OPS shrink films to contract evenly and fit closely around different container shapes.

      Double zone electric heat shrink tunnels are used to shrink sleeve films such as PVC, POF, PE, PP and OPS after they are applied to containers. They use two heating sections, one above and one below the conveyor, to heat the film from different directions during the shrinking process.

      Single-zone steam shrink tunnels use one controlled steam chamber for full-body sleeves and tamper-evident bands on bottles and other containers. Saturated steam surrounds the product and heats the film evenly around curves, grooves and changes in diameter. The single heating zone keeps temperature control consistent throughout the shrinking process.

      Double-zone steam shrink tunnels divide the shrinking process between upper and lower steam sections, with independent temperature control for each section. Their upper and lower steam sections provide 360° steam coverage and heat the sleeve more evenly along the full height of the container.
