Automotive

Automotive products are packed in many different ways, from lubricant bottles and square oil containers to filters, batteries and spare-part boxes. Since automotive products need clear identification throughout storage, distribution and use, their labels may include part numbers, barcodes, instructions and traceability information, all placed where they can be read and scanned easily.

Common Automotive Labeling Applications
  • Shrink sleeves for curved bottles and irregular automotive-care packaging
  • Self-adhesive/pressure-sensitive labels for cartons, square containers, battery housings and component packaging
  • Product labels and nameplates for identification and operating information
  • Barcodes and traceability labels for parts and packaged components
Labelers for Automotive Packaging

The SRL-150 sleeve label applicators can be used for automotive-care bottles and shaped packages that need sleeve coverage around the container. A separate single-zone steam tunnel handles the shrinking stage after application. On automotive products with flat panels, SRT-20 flat label applicators place self-adhesive labels, nameplates and traceability barcodes on cartons, oil containers and battery housings.
