Wrap-Around Label Applicator

SRT-35 Wrap-Around Label Applicator / Round Product Label Applicator

Wrap-around labeling machines apply self-adhesive labels (known also as pressure sensitive labels) to round bottles, jars and cans made of plastic, glass or metal. Each container is guided through the labeling area while a belt or roller turns it against the dispensed label, wrapping the label closely around the curved surface. The self-adhesive/pressure sensitive labels are fed at the same pace as the bottle/container turns, so they follow the curved surface without shifting out of position. Full-wrap and partial-wrap labels can both be applied, with production speeds reaching 80 pieces per minute.

  • Labeling Speed: Up to 80 pieces/min, depending on the product and label size
  • Labeling Accuracy: ±0.5 mm, excluding dimensional variations in the product and label

Features
  • Wrap around labelers can use a chain plate, conveyor belt or rotary table to move containers into the labeling section at even intervals.
  • The labeling head holds and unwinds the label roll, maintains the correct web tension, separates each label from the backing at the peel plate and transfers it onto the container with an application roller.
  • Two servo motors coordinate container rotation with label feeding for accurate full-wrap or partial-wrap application.
  • A spring-loaded belt or flexible rollers press the label around the curved surface and smooth out bubbles, wrinkles and loose edges.
  • PLC and touchscreen controls work with photoelectric or vision sensors to detect each bottle, stop the labeling cycle when no product is present, warn the operator when labels run out and correct the label position automatically.
  • These label applicators work with self-adhesive labels, transparent film labels and aluminum foil labels, including labels printed with electronic traceability codes.
  • Their frame is made of SUS304 stainless-steel, IP65 protection and GMP-compliant.
  • Optional equipment includes inkjet or thermal-transfer coding systems, bottle unscramblers and vision inspection units.
